I have spent just one night in this hotel, but I was impressed by Aniket. He is a young guy working at recepcion with real interest for his work and deep knowledge about his place. For his guest he created simple itinerary based on google maps with a lot of details about different points of interest. He is knowledgeble, speaking very good english and taking care of his guests. I booked only basic room, but the room was clean, shower working, bed sheets clean. Very good deal for money. Hotel does not suit for people expecting too much comfort or beautifull surrounding. I do travel since 3 weeks all over India, but it is just second time I was offered welcome drink. Aniket even offered me help with train ticket order.really recommend this hotel to anybody expecting clean room and hospitality..

The hotel has a wonderfully welcoming vibe from the moment you arrive. The staff are genuinely friendly and incredibly helpful - especially Aniket, who went above and beyond to make our stay seamless. He helped us organise transport and activities, ordered delicious food for us, and even managed to arrange a last-minute bed when we showed up unannounced in the middle of the night. We enjoyed breakfast with a stunning view of the Orchha temple, which made the experience even more special. Add to that a cute resident cat, and it truly felt like a home away from home. Aniket’d kindness and efficiency made our stay smooth, stress-free, and memorable.

We stayed here for 1 night during our trip, and it was a wonderful stay.Located very centrally, one can see all the attractions of Orchha from their roofs on all the sides. Many of them being at walking distances from the property. The hosts were very helpful and tried their best to make our trip a success. Their breakfast options were also quite good.

I would hereby like to thank to the kind host for being extremely hospitable and helpful throughout my stay. I arrived late the first day, after all restaurants were already closed, and he ordered some food and got it delivered to the hotel for me. He also helped me when I needed to arrange train tickets and a taxi. The hotel offers beautiful views which you can enjoy along with a breakfast. If you're in Orchha, this is the place to stay. Thank you..

Had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Sunset, Orchha. The staff was polite, cooperative, and very helpful. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Good facilities were provided at an affordable price, making it great value for money. If I visit Orchha again in the future, I will definitely stay here.

It's a lovely family-run business that has become innovative with the involvement of the younger generation. They are helpful, attentive, and friendly. The location is good, and the cleanliness is excellent.

Hotel Sunset has several rooms catering to all standards - it is a small family run business that takes the extra step to make their guests feel welcome. The hotel is close to the town centre and all the sites of interest and yet off the main street and so avoiding much of the traffic noise. They can provide food on request, have a drinks fridge and will assist in booking train tickets. Over the years I have stayed at Hotel Sunset several times and would highly recommend it.
